As we inch closer to the postseason, many questions still remain unanswered, especially when it comes to the 2021 MVP race between Lakers forward LeBron James and Sixers center Joel Embiid. The NBA All-Star Game is set for Sunday at 8 p.m. While both teams will surely be looking to pull out the win, the stars will be gunning for the All-Star MVP award as well. FanDuel Sportsbook currently lists LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo as the favorites to win the award. The two are tied at +600.

Lastly, and most importantly, It helps that Embiid’s coach is going to be his real coach, Doc Rivers. Rivers is going to manage his star players minutes, but also makes sure he gets a ton of playing time.

The narrative will be that if LeBron’s team wins he will be the MVP, which is why LBJ stands as the favorite at +500.
